Joining the Hermosa Beach Kiwanis Club

Every Wednesday, the Hermosa Beach Kiwanis Club gathers for lunch, except on legal holidays or if there is a fifth Wednesday in the month. These meetings are a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow members, learn about your community and engage in meaningful discussions with friends and neighbors.

Our monthly meetings are catered by local restaurateur Rafael Solorzano of Salsa Verdes Restaurant, who delights us with beautiful and delicious lunches for our members and guests. A meal you will not soon forget.

Request to Join

To be considered for membership, you will be paired with a current member who will act as your sponsor. Your sponsor will propose your name at the next monthly board meeting. Upon approval by the board, you will attend a one-on-one orientation meeting, typically held at a local restaurant or a private residence.

This orientation provides an opportunity to learn about the finer points of membership, including our mission, vision, values, and finances. It also allows you to ask any questions you may have before being officially installed as a full member in good standing.
