NOTICE TO MEMBERS Earl states 9/30/02 is deadline for bringing years 01/02 meal/dues current. Letters being sent to delinquents.

$35 will be assessed to each member for the installation party of new Kiwanis Officers on Saturday, 9/21/02

9/11 Activities: 8:45 AM at the pier and 7PM at Community Center. Kiwanis lunch service is TBD.

Valley Park: will be closed for 8 to 9 months for refurbishment.

SPEAKER:

Rif Haffar has written a book describing his 1 year trip around the world via motorcycle and air with his girlfriend. They visited 45 countries, 18,000 land miles, 34,000 air miles, and 6 continents. He described several experiences from Italy, Eastern Europe, India, Egypt, Turkey, Australia and Cambodia. Rif reminds us in a humorous way that much of the world is dirty, dangerous, and different.  

Happy Sads: S Judy M has to go back to work, S Cathy Mike leaving and .50 cents anticipating playing golf, H/S Carey soccer coach, H Dave been our caterer for 1 year S green fingers from cake, H Witt just happy, S Terry Mike Cathy and green tongue, H Ann just happy, S Mike sorry to leave H sold, unsold and resold his house, H Bruce bought Buffalo Gun, H Tony won’t miss Judy cause he will see her at school S Mike going H help with hot dog booth, H Rif first time reserved parking, H Dick M Cathy S ice bucket story, H Sam Key Club and Circle K help
