Thanks from Kiwanis International re Hixon contribution.

Donation from Jean Lombardo to Youth Services in honor of Taylor Lombardo (Builders Club President).

CELEBRATION:  Greg Ronkainen party tonight (5/29) at Kiwanis Hall celebrating his kids' graduations.

AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION:  We passed the Circle K Pig to collect money for the Heart Walk (a Division 19 project and Circle K fundraiser).

FIESTA HOT DOG BOOTH:  Final numbers not in yet, but we sold a bunch of hot dogs and had a lot of fun.  Special thanks to Rick K and Tony for organizing, Earl and Howiee who were drafted to fill in for no-shows, Bob McE who did opening and closing duties beyond the call of duty, Chef Dave for cooking all weekend.  Other hard workers included Paul A, Rick H, Fred & Terry Bose, Jeannie, Dick & Cathy, Bruce, Judy, Christine, Sam, Carol and others.

SPEAKER: Francesca De La Cruz - Our visitors from East View brought the program.  Francesca works for Star Systems Int'l which does programs which educate the public re fire prevention and fire protection.  Fire is the #1 killer in American Homes.  Smoke detectors don't always do the job.  Wiring and electric appliances are major causes of fire.  Have evacuation/escape plans well understood and don't think it can't happen to you.  Your real enemy is time as fire spreads quickly.

HAPPY/SADS: Anna happy re???, Earl whacked? Yvonne happy re bust? Nick happy niece baptized, Whit happy re ?, Greg W sad re root canal (oh no, this is bad!), Linda happy Ria here as guest, Jeannie happy re flowers and Terry ride to hospital, Cathy sad Circle K piggy bank too small, Tony happy re hot dog booth, helpers, sad re block party.  Sam happy Anne better.  Interclub visitors happy to be hear and hear our silly jokes.
