recovering from surgery and hopes to be back soon *** Paul presented a
check for $55,000 to Rick K for the HB Arts Foundation from the proceeds
for the “Tree Lot”

Film Festival Pat Love
and Jeff M. announced the Short Film Festival this weekend, Friday night,
August 8th, Saturday August 9th, including a party after
the awards, and Sunday night, August 10th, at the beach at
sunset. Pat gave President Mike 2 sets
of VIP passes worth $100 each. Bob donated $100 for one set.

TASTE @THE BEACH3 Bob announced
the committee is working hard and it is going to be a great event. We
need all members to buy and sell tickets ASAP!!! Paul asked members to
sign up and assist on the Saturday before and the day of the T@B3 Jan announced we have many great items
for the silent auction, thanks especially to

Dallas was very special to him --- Cathy for Dallas’ life and “he was on my case a
lot” -- Bob
He was a role model -- Earl Dallas like to raise the pot on the last
card -- Adrienne Dallas will join her mother in giving her dad trouble! -- Jan Dallas ”always reminded me” about Public Works
project and the board in front of City hall will be fixed before the 23rd -- Joanne know for 5 years, he made a difference and
liked her meat loaf -- Joni glad to have known Dallas and Dorothy
personally -- Whit will miss sitting with him -- Terry has known Dallas for 30 years and Dallas got
her in trouble with another Kiwanian when she rented the Hall for a family
party, so she had to join Kiwanis -- Dick
known Dallas for 20 years- he
gave him a Tiger Woods putter -- Yvonne
loved his jokes, “He was a true Kiwanian” – Carol has
very special memories -- Steve ‘He was the greatest’ when speaking to Dorothy, she was consoling
him -- Greg presented the new bar dedicated to Dallas
